The Arlitt Center for Education, Research and Sustainability
One of the oldest demonstration preschools in the United States. Founded in 1925 as the University of Cincinnati Nursery School, this child development center is sustained in part by an endowment from Dr. Ada Hart Arlitt, who was the first teacher at the school.

To counteract this trend, the Natural Learning Initiative offers evidence-based design assistance, professional development, and information resources to advance experience of the natural environment in the daily lives of all children.
Children's Environments Research Group
The Children’s Environments Research Group (CERG) links university scholarship with the development of policies, environments, and programs to fulfill children’s rights and improve the quality of their lives.
